Anthrax

Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker.

They’ve worked with Public Enemy on the track “Bring the Noise,” and recorded a cover of the Joe Jackson song “Got the Time,” which became a radio hit. They’ve also incorporated elements of punk, rap, and even country into their music, earning them a diverse fanbase.
