Requirements for the white badge
- You must be 18 or older.
- Your account must have a good history and follow Meta’s Community Standards.
- Your account needs a clear profile photo of your face (the system matches it against your selfie video).
- Not available for Pages, ProMode accounts, or brand/business accounts — it’s for personal accounts only.

Steps to get the white badge
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Go to the Accounts Center (or the verification section) and find the option to “Verify that you’re a real person” / Facebook Verified.
- Tap to start and follow the prompts to record a short selfie video (usually turning your head left and right).
- Meta’s system compares the video with your existing profile photo.
- If they match, processing takes just a few minutes and the white badge appears next to your name.

- Record the video in good lighting and hold your phone steady.
- Make sure your account isn’t currently restricted for any violation.
